![]() PC, PS4, Xbox Series S and X, Nintendo Switch It's also not coming to PlayStation, which has been the most popular platform for past Fallout and Elder Scrolls games.Įxpect this to be the biggest game launch in Microsoft and Bethesda history, driving subscribers to Game Pass and boosting Xbox Series S and X sales. Also, we should expect it to feature prominently alongside Xbox Series X and S hardware over the holiday sales period.īethesda Games Studios is a top tier developer, but its games are big and complex and can launch with technical issues. The game arrives day one in Game Pass, so it will draw a huge audience from the moment it's released. First announced in 2018, it frequently tops most anticipated lists and Xbox is billing it as its biggest ever launch. It's from the makers of Fallout and Elder Scrolls, which are two of the biggest RPGs in the world. Yet we can still look at what else is to come. After 30 years, FIFA is being rebranded as EA Sports FC, and according to reports, this year's Call of Duty is more like a standalone expansion to last year's game. Typically, FIFA and Call of Duty would be safe bets, but this year might be a little different. There are two notable games we've not seen yet. In terms of the major third-party publishers, only Ubisoft appears to be showing up (outside of the usual sports titles). It's not the biggest line-up in terms of quantity (although if you're a fan of 2D platformers, you're in luck). Looking ahead, after the recent spate of summer showcases, we now have a very good idea of what to expect from the rest of the 2023. Live-service titles, an endless stream of great indie releases, subscription services filled with legacy games, and the fact that AAA titles are often hundreds of hours long… Gamers aren't complaining about gaps in the schedule. Gamers are not exactly bereft of things to play. There's an argument that things will become more consistent as the business recovers from the setbacks caused by the COVID-19 lockdowns. A few interviews I've conducted recently have been precisely on this topic, with Ubisoft talking about its push into mobile, and GAME explaining its plans around toys. Gamers aren't complaining about gaps in the scheduleīusiness that are still reliant on a strong, regular and deep slate of AAA releases – areas such as the media and retail – will feel the pressure to grow alternative revenue streams. As of right now, June has a stronger line-up than November. ![]() The release slate is spotty right up until October when, for some reason, everyone seems to be releasing their games within the same two-week period. It has been a big year but, outside of the many thousands of indie games, there have also been these gaps in the schedule. But there have been a handful of new indie games that have broken through, and Hi-Fi Rush found an audience via Xbox Game Pass. New IP has fared less well, with Forspoken and Redfall missing in terms of quality and popularity. And those have come alongside other big IP, such as Resident Evil 4, Dead Island 2, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Final Fantasy 16, and Street Fighter 6. It has been ladened with blockbuster, record-breaking releases, including Hogwarts Legacy, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Diablo 4. It's been a bit of an unusual year for the AAA games industry.

There you go! Those are the items you should keep as you move into TBC. ![]() So if you want this trinket, you'll have to agree with your raid members beforehand that it goes to you. This item has a 100% drop rate, but the catch is, only one player can loot it per raid. However, the item you need to hand in to complete the quest is The Phylactery of Kel'Thuzad, which you get from killing Kel'Thuzad in the Naxxramas raid. The trinket is a completion reward for the raid quest The Fall of Kel'Thuzad. If you don't already have this trinket, you might have trouble getting it depending on your raiding situation in late Classic WoW. It also allows for the acquisition of Scourgestones on behalf of the Argent Dawn. When equipped, it increases the damage done to Undead and Demons by magical spells (for spellcasters), OR, increases attack power by 150 (physical damage classes). There are two of these trinkets available, both with the same name, but one is for physical DPS classes, and the other is for casting classes. If you want a Scarab Brooch for your healer in Outland, then head over to Ahn'Qiraj and defeat the boss Viscidus. Once again, the percentages stay the same, so the trinket scales with your healing abilities, making it still very powerful in TBC. When used, your magical heals provide the target with a shield that absorbs damage equal to 15% of the amount healed for 30 seconds. Scarab BroochĪ healing trinket this time. The Might of the Scourge is also a level 60 bind-on-pickup- item, but this one permanently adds to a shoulder slot item which increases attack power by 26 and also increases your critical strike by 14. The Zandalar Signet of Might is a bind-on-pickup item that, when used, permanently adds 30 attack power to your shoulder slot item. Zandalar Signet of Might and Might of the Scourge If you want to get your hands on one of these, then head to the Ahn'Qiraj raid and kill Battleguard Sartura. It's a great trinket for Survival Hunters in particular. Having this trinket can be the difference between wiping and succeeding. The Badge of Swarmguard is actually more popular in TBC than in Classic WoW because bosses just have more armor in TBC. To put it another way, this trinket removes armor from bosses. The armor penetration effect can be applied up to 6 times. Badge of the SwarmguardĪnother trinket you'll want to take with you through the Dark Portal! The Badge of the Swarmguard gives a chance on melee or ranged attack to apply an armor penetration effect on you for 30 seconds, lowering the target's physical armor by 200 of your own attacks. You can get the trinket by turning in the Beasts Deck at the Darkmoon Faire. In particular, it's insanely powerful or Holy Priests, so if you're one, get this trinket. The percentages remain the same in TBC, making it a very powerful trinket to have. This is a level 60 trinket which gives you a 2% chance on successful spellcast to allow 100% of your Mana regeneration to continue while casting for 15 seconds. Don’t have WoW Classic subscription yet? Consider checking out Gamecamp to find the best prices available. There might also be a few items on this list that you don't have, but want to get because of what they can do for your character in the next expansion. Here we're going to tell you the items you probably already have but should keep as you go into TBC. If you're not the kind of player who wants to farm all day to go into TBC with hundreds of stacks of materials, then you're in the right place. With TBC just around the corner, many players are looking forward and thinking, "what next?" and "how do I prepare for TBC?". We're still not sure when, but considering players have been in phase 6 for many months now, it's likely Blizzard will roll out TBC as soon as they're done with the upcoming beta testing set to occur over the next few months. ![]() BlizzConline 2021 has now been and gone, and it's official, we'll be getting Classic The Burning Crusade (TBC) in 2021. |
